FfmpegX DVD to DV transcoding tutorial
note: FfmpegX v.0.0.9s  (0.0.9w menus slightly different)


1) Launch FfmpegX

2) Drag source video (joined .vob files) onto the Source format window or
   Click on Open... and select the source

3) Select Save As... set file save location and filename

4) Select Target format > Choose DV 
   (click on the arrow for the pulldown menu)

5) Video Compression Settings

	Video Tab
	- Bitrate 25000 kbit/s
	- Video Size: 720x480 

	Audio Tab
	- Audio bitrate 1411 kbit/s
	- Sampling 48000 Hz
	- Channels: Stereo
	- Mode: CBR

	Filters Tab 
	- Crop (manual crop enter pixels [top,left,right,bottom]
	- Image filters - deinterlace

	Options Tab
	- High Quality

	Tools Tab
	- Keep elementary streams

6) Choose Encode

7) Preview output
